Academic Advisement |
The main focus of the Student Athlete Academic Center is to help student-athletes graduate on time. To achieve this goal, academic advisement is provided to all student-athletes. Advisors are available to help students-athletes register for classes, monitor athletic eligibility, secure tutorial help, and provide on-going support and encouragement. The academic advisors assist student-athletes by having them set weekly and semester goals, teaching them time management and academic success strategies, and helping them communicate effectively with their professors. Advisors also assist the coaching staff in monitoring the day-to-day progress of student-athletes who are challenged. Listed below is the name and number of the advisor assigned to work with each team. Student-athletes can either make an appointment, or can drop-in the Student Athlete Academic Center (345 SAB).
