Extramural Sports Mission Statement

The office of Extramural Sports strives to demonstrate the aspects of athletics that promote wholesome attitudes in participants and spectators; to enhance positive relationships with other institutions, alumni and the general public; and to ensure that high moral standards are always reflected in the conduct of athletes and coaches.

We believe that an emphasis on excellence will naturally produce high performance from individuals as well as teams. This focus will also help maintain a perspective in the athlete congruent with the fundamental mission of the University as a Church run and sponsored institution.
