Prior To BYU:
Served as an operations assistant with the football program while receiving his masters of public administration. Prior to returning to receive his graduate degree, Blackner worked at Hartman Communications (The Color Code) as the Director of Client Services.
Education: Graduated from BYU with a bachelor's degree in international studies in 2002. He later returned to BYU and obtained a master's in public administration in 2007.
Hometown: University Place, Wash.
Family: Married to the former Mikelle Hartman. They have one girl, Baylee.
