SUMMARY: A power forward with shooting range on the perimeter, Fernando Malaman made 15 starts in 54 games for BYU, averaging 4.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in his two seasons as a Cougar. He played in 25 games and averaged 9.1 minutes, 2.3 points and 1.9 rebounds per game as a senior in 2006-07 on BYU's Mountain West Conference Championship team.
